Advantages for nursing staff
Advantages for residents/patients
The CareMat® will not be activiated by blankets, pillows or bedding which may fall on it during routine use. It is very stable, with bevelled edges, an active grip structure to reduce the likelihood of falls and comes with integral handles to enable easy movement between rooms. Able to withstand the rigours of floor-cleaning machines, it is also impervious to most fluids and can be easily cleaned using a mild detergent (recommended alcohol content <70%).
This is the largest of the three CareMat® in production by Bircher Reglomat AG, a leading international manufacturer of pressure-sensitive and contact-free detector systems. Bircher Reglomat AG is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. CareMat® is manufactured in Switzerland.
Always disconnect the mat from the in-home nursing system before cleaning.
Do not use caustic soda cleaning solutions.
Avoid lifting the CareMat® by the connection cable as this may damage the product.
